NOTICE RE: USPS Shipping Times and Estimates for Delivery

We ship packages everyday. Most instances same day you order if before 10AM EST. In the rest of cases next Shipping day after you order. For example you order Saturday at 1:00PM your order will not ship till Monday which is the next shipping day. Holidays are counted as non shipping days.

USPS has raised rates again for the 8th time since we have been in business in 2018. We will continue to absorb these costs into our FREE shipping as long as are able. We are starting to see sporadic delays with USPS but very few lost packages and most packages are on time.

Unfortunately, delays not only mean slower shipping times, but lack of tracking - or inaccurate tracking. This leads to packages that just show up as delivered having sat in "preshipment" for days. Or being routed to other distribution centers. NearlyNewModels ships your package as fast as possible and provides a tracking number. Once item has shipped it is out of NearlyNewModels control at that point. FREE shipping option is USPS FIRST CLASS. 

While these delays are not happening consistently, and will only get worse, we thought we should share that information. USPS has stated that 1-3 day Priority Mail shipping times has been moved up to 4-5 days. This has been the case since April. The delays also affect First Class mailings as well as well as Priority Mail.

The important bit here is that First Class (free shipping method) and Priority Mail is not a guaranteed service, time-wise - but is only an estimate for delivery.
